Default HELP::: Water pump in Johnson 150 GT V6

Could someone please help me? I'm trying to change the water pump in my Johnson and I can't quite figure it out. I've gotten all of the bolts out of the foot, but I cant get it to slide all the way out. It seems like it is catching on something.

under the bottom carb is the shift linkage. the screw holding it must be removed, and then the lower unit should drop down.
