When I squeeze the bulb fuel leaks out like crazy what could be causing this?

Where is it leaking out of ?

Actually the leak stopped by itself. The boat has sat all winter and now when I squeeze the bulb there is no leak. Is there a ring or gasket that needed to reseal in the carb or around the fuel filter. It's' in that vicinity that the leak was occuring

Sounds like you had a stuck float. Could be nothing... could be a recurring problem. Best fix is to have the carbs rebuilt...- Scott

I've noticed a few times this occured to me. I've chalked it up to the gasket drying up over the winter and then swelling up after the first squeeze of the season. Last year this happened and ran leak free all year after the first startup. Keep an eye on it.Good luck
