I use this extended shaft outboard to move my sailboar when there's no wind. Every time I start her up in neutral, I release the choke and reduce the idle, then engage the shift. (Only forward on this model). There is a increase in RPM but no shift into drive for about 4-6 seconds. Runs fine then.Any ideas what is causing this?
