I have lost spark. It could very well be my rectifier but before I pluck down $250 and just listen to my stater crank I wanna be sure. My boat got caught under a floating dock and when the tide went down so did my boat. I got her started the very next day a she performed perfectly. Then it was lights out and I have very weak spark. I would really appreciate the wiring diagram for the ignition. Also is there a test to evaluate the rectifier? If can rule it in or out that would be very helpful. Thanks for any guidance......all my best Dr. Dan
You may want to look in a different direction. The rectifier is on the battery charging side of the stator and has nothing to do with the ignition side- where the spark is. Since yours has two power packs, would be good to know if you get spark out of one or the other, or neither. A factory service manual is helpful to diagnose problem ignition components.
