Evinrude 250 ficht - starting hard when warm

Hi,

My Evinrude 250 ficht ram injection is quite new (150Hr). Its starts easy and runs good -problem: usaly after sailing for diving about 5 miles( at 4000rpm) I stop the engine and then its very hard to start it . I can some times start it with 1/2 throttle ahead.

I replaced the engine computor unite with a new one but the problem was not resolved. Checked all other engine units and evrything looks good. I'm from Israel and technical support for this engine is poor.

Looking for pepole that have expirence with this engine and can lead me to the fulty unit or can address me to this engaine expetrs.

what year and model number, the ficht is a totally different animal for the standard 2 strokes, be patient for an answer.

There is plenty of knowledge on Evinrudes on this site and I'm sure one of the experts will chime in soon, When reading your problem I thought it might be worthwile doing a fuel pressure and leak down test, to see if there are any leak down problems when warm, I'm not familiar with this motor, it's probably best to wait and see what some of the boys have got to say!
