    Default evinrude 150hp primer ball

    i have 150 hp intruder should the primer ball stay hard well running or get soft

    It will not stay hard because fuel is being drawn through it by the pump.

    It should not be sucked down to a partly flattened state either. That would indicate restriction in the fuel pick up from the tank or lack of tank venting.
