Can't quite figure out what hoses you are talking about. Can you post your model number and a better description of where the hoses start and end?

There is one hose for each cylinder, 2 on each side of the block. Total of four.

They feed opposite cylinders, thats to say top carb feeds bottom cyl, bottom carb goes to top cyl.

the welsh plug says E115WLCIM 0001272 what the deal is i was suppose to have purchased a 1976 135 hp johnson w/tilt&trim


much $ later come to find out i have a what i think is a 1980 115 hp evinrude power head on a 1976 lower end and 1976 carburaters it has fair compression (even on all 4) and ran great when i went to buy it (bench tested)but having to replace all hoses im going up there today (storage) ill try and take some pics thank you guys for your assist i think by the time im done with this project i will know more about outboards than i wanted too, lol

The recirculation on mine (84 100hp) has 4 brass check valves on the manifold that are under the carbs. These go to a 5 way black plastic Tee and number 5 line goes to the block to lube a bearing. Please save yourself some trouble and lube this 1/16 ID hose before you try to install on the black plastic Tee. I broke mine.

Your manifold looks like mine. On the last photo these are the check valves all 4 of these go to a 5 way Tee and the extra hose goes to the block. Your first photo showing the bypass covers is not like mine. Look at your 2nd photo see the nipple/barbed fitting right below the throttle arm. That is where mine has the 5th hose going.
