Adding backup outboard engine

I have a 20 foot 1988 Sea Nymph Great Lakes Special with a 1987 Johnson 90hp engine. I would like to add a backup electric start 15hp long shaft Johnson tied to the existing engine so they both turn simultaneously. Does anyone have suggestions?

We used the ezsteer system on a 1991 sea nymph 16.5 with an evinrude 40 and 9.9. It works fantastic and its on and off in a second. We had the 9.9 kicker mounted on a kicker bracket off the port side, with the 40hp center mounted. We sold the boat to move up in size, but I would definately do another ez-steer system.
