My motor which has alway's run at 5000 rpm's.Wont go over 3000 rpm's anymore.I'm almost sure that salt water may have got in the tank. Not much maybe only a shot glass worth but I'm pretty sure it may have entered the tank.Stopped on the way home to add more two stroke to the resivore and put some more gas in the tank.Think thats when the water got in.Three to five minutes later motor starts to bog down. With full throttle it wont hit max rpm.limped it home and changed all filters and plug's which were brand new.Take it out and it runs ok will hit 3800 rpm constantly and 5000 rpm's in short little burst's of 10 -30 seconds.Take it home add fuel-dry and some carb-injector cleaner and it runs the same.Take it home and run a sparate 5 gallon tank to see if that will help, not running off the main fuel supply. This small tank also had fuel dry incase water was somewhere past the filters.Well now she wont go over 3000 rpm's and top speed was 12mph which is normaly 35mph.It suck's down three times the normal amount of fuel at full throttle, with A quarter of the speed or power of normal. And she still has her almost W.O.T. Bursts? Done all i know any help would be grand. Thanks JIM
