    Default 96 evinrude 40 hp igniting switch wiring

    Would appreciate info on the ignition switch wiring for a 96 evinrude 40 hp. The wire colors are 2-black, blue, red, yellow and yellow/brown.

    Unfortunately I retired before that model was manufactured, so I am not familiar with the circuitry. Just wanted you to know that you're not being ignored. Hopefully someone will jump in here with the needed information.
