Default 86 Evinrude 150 XP Timing Advance

Boat idles great but when i give it gas it bogs down and does not go.

Is this the timing advance that is disconnected blocking 3 cylinders?

Sometimes i can get it to catch and it runs great so im thinking this must be the problem. This thing keeps coming out.

    Thanks

You are correct. That nylon knuckle is part of the spark advance system. If it keeps coming out, you may want to replace it. 395448 ball and socket there is one on both ends of that link arm. Also, if the grease in the timer base is starting to dry out with age, you may want to clean it and apply some new white lithium grease so that the timer base advances easily/smoothly.
