73 18 hp evinrude water pump

I need to replace the water pump in my 73 18 hp evinrude. Its over heating.

I am wondering how hard this is and how much it costs for a replacement kit?

Any info and diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

Go up just above your post and click on evinrude parts. It is not a hard job, do you have a factory manual for your motor? The manual will take you through the repair.
