    Default 2000 evinrude 70 hp 4 stroke

    Can anyone tell me anything about a 2000 evinrude 70 hp 4 stroke. I am looking at a lund that has this motor on and want to know if this is a good motor.

    That is a rebadged Suzuki DF70, bassmaster.

    I had no troubles with my 2001 Suzi DF70. Extremely quiet, instant start and very easy on the gas.

    Routine and preventive maintenance called out in the Manual must be religiously followed. Do not overtighten the cam drive belt or it will snap the nose off the cam.
