1999 Evinrude 6hp Four Stroke

I'm looking at a 1999 Evinrude 6hp Four Stroke and was wondering if it's a good quality motor. I know some of the mid 90's 8hp-15hp had some issues

This is a 3-party engine just re-branded to Evinrude/johnson and may not be compared to any of the old 2-strokes original ones.

If it was built by the "Other" company, it's probably a good one as long it's not the orginial OMC 4 stroke.

It is a 1 cylinder 'shaker' made at the OMC factory in Hong Kong. Lower unit etc are OMC, but the power head????
