1999 Evinrude 4 stroke 9.9 Powerpack

I am looking at an Evinrude 9.9 (E10EL4EEB) that has no spark.

It seems like finding the Powerpack (P/N 0586505) or (0586650) is extremely difficult and pricey, at best.

Any chance no spark could be other problem (stator already replaced).

Anyone else had sudden failure of the powerpack?

Hell ya, they just crap out. Phone rapair (cdi) I think you can ship them your old one for repair.
