1998 Evinrude 150 temp wire

anybody know what color the temp wire is that goes to the gauge?

If it is a BRP/OMC stand alone temperature guage, the wire supplied with the unit is tan; the same color as the wire from the temperature switch to the horn/alarm.

If you look at the OMC temp. switch's, you will find they are color coded indicating what temp the switch will close at. As said the color to the horn, or guage will be tan.
