The 1997 Evinrude 115 SPL has been parked behind the bank for 12 months. They say it ran about 5 months ago.It starts well, but when mid to high power is applied and the boat is under a load the engine bogs down and dies. It will also die if power is reduced abruptly. If the choke button is pushed in before the engine bogs down, the engine accelerates and the boat will plane. But as soon as the choke is released the engine starts to die.On the trailer with earmuffs on the engine will "rev up" appropriately. Thanks,John Rees
