I have read alot of the old post about the 115 johnson. I have not found a post that talks about the problems i am haveing. The problem is fuel i think. The prime bulb will not stay tight. It will only run long enough for the carbs to burn the fuel in the bowls. So I know I wasted the money but i bought a new fuel pump. Same problem What i dont understand is the darn thing ran great. Then one day on the lake It all the sudden got this problem. I read about the timing problems with these engines but do they just pop up? I read about heat sink but this thing will not run for more than a few min. please help!! I have pulled the fuel line off at the pump and it is not pulling fuel. I did put a new pulsator on at the time of a new fuel pump. I can hear the pump knocking when the carbs are about to run out of fuel.
