    Default 1995 112spl piston damage

    lost compression on 1 cyl. top of the cyl is damaged.. can i repair this myself? im a pretty good mechanic, never tackled an outboard b4.. any suggestions ????

    if you feel confident, in you ability, get the OEM service manual at outboardbooks.com. have at it. be sure to mark parts, and take pixs as you take it apart. makes it easier when going back together.
