Hi there,The above engine at idle runs rough. At speed it seems fine. It is also hard to start when cold.Would anyone have any ideas as to the cause.Also would you know what the spark plug gap for this engine should be. I am thinking of trying a set of plugs.Any help is appreciated.

Ratsirt,The spark plug you can use is a Champion QL77JC4 set a .030.If unfamiliar with checking the sync and link on your engine, get a manual and go through the procedure.Have you had the engine long? Many things can cause rough idle. How does the engine temp feel after warm up? Do you have any idea when the last was the carbs were overhauled. What is the idle rpm in neutral and in gear?
