1990 Johnson 200 fly wheel nut
Whats the trick to get the fly wheel nut off and is it left hand threads or right hand?

Takes a 1 7/16'' socket, flywheel holder and breaker bar. Right hand thread.

stay away from the impact wrench do nont strike with hammer either bolts torqued to 140-150#s use thin walled 1 7/16 socket on long breaker bar man up right turn clyde

I've taken a lot of flywheel nuts OFF with an impact wrench but you NEVER put the flywheel nut back on with it. That's what torque wrenches are for.

Is this English? "man up right turn clyde"? Must be some nautical term.

thanks ,english, put your back into it and in your case right hand turn clyde might be fitting.

air impact wrench will get it right off with no problems
