1986 evinrude 115 tilt/trim wiring

hopefully yall can help. i have a 1986 evinrude on my 1975 sport craft and the tilt and trim stopped working. so my nephew decided it would be great to take it apart for me before i got a chance to look at it.. now im looking for the correct wiring diagram. there is 3 wires from the trim motor. and there is 4 or 5 other wires coming from the harness. he also failed to write down where what wires went on the selonoid. please help..

First, I'd double check the year of the engine. It may be older than you think. The three wire systems ended in mid-year 1981. From mid 1981 on, the trim motors were 2 wire motors with a pair of relays in the box which mounts on the back of the exhaust cover.

the tilt trim is off a different unit. it was added on.. all wires went to a black junction box with a single solenoid. there are 3 wires from the t/t motor and i think 4 from the other harness and my hot and ground.
