    Default 1981 JOHNSON 25HP SHEAR PIN

    I can't find a shear pin on this motor! Does anybody have any ideas? Is there an alternative system to avoid damage caused by prop contact?I am baffled!Paul Duggins

    Hello I think all the 81-83 25 HP OMC were spline drive. if your prop shaft is splined then there is no shear pin. the prop has a rubber hub that might slip. good luck and keep posting
