1981 Johnson 25hp Sea horse

Can anyone tell me about this motor it is electric start and has the long shaft i just bought a 1991 grumman 16' jon boat and it has this motor on it have not tryed to start it but none of the cables are froze up on it or steering motor was in great running condition when boat was parked a few years ago i just need some info on this motor and what you might do if you where in my shoes.
