1979 omc tilt trim unir wiring diagram needed

hey guys need a wiring diagram for a 1979 evinrude 115 tilt trim unit. need to get it hooked up from the unit itself to the relays n then the switch. really appreciate it... dont know whhy these are so hard to find online. also, i need to make a relay box, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to do this properly (and small budget)? thanks guys

I have a 1977 115hp Johnson O/B and what I have as far as the wiring goes isn't much, mine has a solenoid that is used for the tilt/trim, with that said here is what I have. I'm sure someone with better knowledge will post a better idea. Hope this helps, good luck

Wires on tilt/trim solenoid: Trim wire locations
The blue & green wires should be going to the SMALL posts on the trim solenoid.

Switch wiring
Green/white stripe to top terminal (up)
Red/white stripe to center switch terminal (Battery)
Blue/white stripe to bottom of switch terminal (down)

thanks bud... i do still need a wiring diagram for this tho. its a 2 wire trim unit if that helps.

Check out the second sticky at the top of the forum. There are two different wiring diagrams for the 2 wire PTT.
