    Default 1979 evinrude 85 hp.

    I have a problem with the rpms not going down when i go back to neutral. I believe when i ajusted the cable i did not take out the slake anyone with similar problem?

    Make sure the engine is returning to the idle stop when you put it into full idle position. Make sure all the throttle plates are shut when you return it to full idle.

    Check and readjust the throttle cable on the mtr. Make sure your warm up lever is fully down.
