1979 evinrude 115hp starter question
I have a 1979 evinrude 115hp that i need a new starter drive for. the starter drive part number is 0386102 and I have the prestolite starter. I found a used bosch starter for $30 that is in great shape. Can i just switch out the 2 starters or do i need to spend the $100 on a replacement starter drive?
thanks,.

Bosch 389954,585051,585057,585196,586282,586283 will all bolt right up and work fine. - 10 tooth.
Replacement Arco drive gear for the Bosch I believe is around $23.
