    Default 1977 Evinrude 115hp

    Will a newer power trim/tilt unit, with the double trim rods and single tilt rod, fit my engine? The engine originally came with the single trim and single tilt rod with the externally mounted motor. Would the newer models work?

    No! The outboard mounting brackets, and mid section are different.
