1974 evinrude tell tale

hi all just got a evinrude outboard £100 got it started with new fuel in a big test tank of water and turned it straight off believe its a 1974 number is 254b63m think its a 74 question is does it have a tell tale as i dont want to start it not knwing if its pumping thanks

If it does you should see the spout in the lower cowl. I don't think it does cause mine doesn't have one either.

77 is when OMC started installing the tell tales for the water pump.
