    Question 1972 100hp johnson

    Hi! I don't have the controls to the motor yet, how do I check the spark on the motor? What wires do I need to hook up or unhook? I saw something about the yellow and black wires going to the power pack but there are none.

    Also I got to looking at my 75hp 62' evinrude, would the powerhead from this fit the 72'? I doubt it but just wondering, they do look similar. Thanks!
