1971 6hp johnson powerhead gaskets
Just what may seem to be a dumb question. Do i need to use gasket maker on the joint of the crank gasket when putting the bottom end back on a 6hp johnson that i removed to change the impeller. I know i have to use it on one side of the larger gasket but im talking about the small donut gasket like a flat washer next to the crank end

I don't use any type of sealer on the crank seal.
