    Default 1967 evinrude problems

    Hello

    I have a 1967 evinrude motor model 18702. the motor starts up fine first pull, compression is fine, at low speed idles with no problem when i give it throttle and try to open it up it bogs on me and seems to loose power and hesitates, bring it back yo low speed and works fine...please help....

    Sounds like it might be time to overhaul the carb, paying attention to the high speed jet.
