I have a 1967 40 hp Evinrude. I have no water coming out of the port. I have took the lower end off and replaced the impeller also new seals on the top of the impeller housing. I took the pipes out and there are no plugs in them. I also turned the shaft and it pumped water all the way up the pipes. I poured water in the two ports where the thermostat is and water came out of them with no problem. There is no water in the cylinder that I can see. I have no compression in the top cylinder, 80 to 90 in the bottom.
Dose anyone have any thing I can do or any easy fix.
Well i got the haed gasket and took it off it dose look blowen in the two middle water jackets. I was looking at the head when i had it off and i saw pitting the the cylender that was blown wat is this caused from and is it going to be a problem
