I was running my outboard and the heads were getting hot. So I pulled one of the hoses off to see if there was anything coming out. There was small stream maybe dribbles. I just replaced the impeller. Now Im questioning if I installed it right. Is there a wrong way to install this? Also It has been sitting for 25 years so would the seals and gaskets get old and brittle so where that it wouldnt pump that much water? I pulled down the copper tubes and cleared everything out and seems to be nothing i them , also the vernatherm block and nothing.
Would getting a repair kit help anything? If so do you guys know a kit number. I dont need the one with the housing I think this one is okay.
