    Default 1956 12hp johnson: what spark plug to use?

    hey guys. just got this outboard and wanna put the right plugs in it. who knows if the ones it came with are correct, right? does anyone know the required plug? Thank you

    Must be either a 10hp or 15hp. No 12hp in 1956. Champion J4C or J6C if you do a lot of trolling. J6C is a little hotter and will be less apt to foul out.
