Hi schap7. There are 2-3 things it could be. They're all pretty easy to check. First would be to see if you have a broken shear pin. You can check by removing the prop. If a broken brass pin comes out, then there's your problem. That means it did its job and broke rather than engine. However, usually that occurs when you hit something which causes the pin to shear. If that's not it, then drawn scribe a line on the backside of the prop, then run it again until it slips. Remove the prop and see if the scribe is still aligned. If not, then you have a spun hub in your prop. No worries, it's very common and again designed to fail should you hit something. You can get it rehubbed for about $40-$50 at a prop shop, or you might be able to find one on a donor motor some where. If the hub is not spun, then I think it may be your clutch dog. It's housed in your gear case. It's not hard to fix, but you do have to open up the gear case to get at it. Try these simple tests and let us know what you find and we'll take it from there. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Hey I have one more quick question . I drained the lube from the lower casing near the prop. What is the proper lube to put in I picked up 80w90 high viscosity lower unit gear lube is this correct?

Does anyone know where I can find any parts for this model such as drain plug screws and seals and the actual shear pins instead of modified brass screws?
