Can anyone help me with a value for this motor. It does not run but I do have the original canvas carrying case.

Value is entirely subjective. You might find similar motors on eBay and see what they are selling for. I sold a similar HD-25 a couple years ago for less than $100, and it did run. They're quite common and those that want one don't usually have a problem finding one. Lots of supply and modest demand. Bottom line is that it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it...
