About LinkBacksI have a Nissan ns70a that has blown 3 power packs. The mechanic installed a maintenence free battery in when installing packs. CDI says, these batteries can damage a pack. Is this true. What else can blow these packs. The boat will run great for several weekends before blowing the pack on one cylinder.

Also, installation instructions say to cut the three pin connector (ESG) off before installing. He did not do this, could this also cause problems?
