Honda hrs? on a 4 stroke
I'm looking at purchasing a used boat with a late 90's- 90 Hsp. 4 stroke with about 450 hrs. on it. Is this something to be concerned about as far as high hours? Also looking at a boat with a Yammie 150 4 stroke 2004 model with 450 hrs. what do you guys think? I'm new so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Honda hrs? on a 4 stroke
Four hundred and fifty hours isn't a lot of hours.
According to practical experience the motor should be on it's fourth oil change, second set of spark plugs, second or third water pump impeller.
Since it's not to new and not to old, perfect time to start using Mobil 1.

My 1999 Honda 90 Hp has 490 hrs on it. Seriously, cannot tell it from new.
