Honda Four stroke outboard 25hp

I have a Honda four stroke outboard 25HP on my 13' boston whaler.
It has a remote console setup and a steering wheel.
The alarm inside the throttle/ gear shifter has been going off contiusously everytime I push the throttle past idle in forward or reverse.
The engine is spraying water out the back which means that my water pump is working right?
And the green light is on on the hanlde which means the oil is good to go.

Any ideas?

that may have an alarm if you have the motor tilted up past a certain degree...? still got your owners manual ?
