Honda BF25 Oil Filter 1998

Hello, I dont have a dealer near me and I need a oil filter for my 25hp. Would a Wix filter be OK and would someone have a number for the Wix? I couldnt find it on the Wix filter lookup. thanks

WIX would be ok, they probably made the orginal filter anyway. Go to a NAPPA store, they can usually get any filter you want.

The Honda part #is 15400 PFB 014, or 007.Either will work and the parts house should be able to cross this to the Wix.Denso makes the stock filters and have they're #printed usually somewhere on the filter mostly near the seam.That may further help you cross this.This is the same filter they use on motorcycles,generators,atvs,etc and is also used on many Yamaha product if that helps with finding an outlet.
