honda 25hp 4 stroke wont idle

Hi everyone hopefully someone can help me out here i just got 25hp 4 stoke honda motor its a 2002 i put it in the water 4 weeks ago and was running fine until this weekend it stop idling when i have the choke out it will stay on but once i push the choke it it turns right off i noticed once its running with the choke on i give it a little gas it runs good i turn the gas down it shakes i was told after when i got it the gas was from last year and didnt have stablizer in it i dont know if that has anything to do with it. Also in the last couple weeks it would idle a little high without the choke on once in awhile whenit was running good

Time to clean the carb and run fresh fuel. Sounds like a little crud in the idle circuit of the small passages in the carb.
