1986 yamaha 150

I have a 1986 model yamaha 150. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on anything that would pick the power up. I have heard something about the exhaust tuner? Also what would be the max rpms to turn this engine? I have a set of 200 carbs, but with gas prices the way they are and my 150 carbs adjusted pretty good I sorta hate to change them. Also part numbers would be a big help. Thanks

Changing the tuner to the one out of the old V-6 Special or Excell will give a boost. Changing the reeds and carbs to 200 ones with the tuner will give another 50 or so horses.<br /> At WOT it will burn more fuel.
