The smart tabs are without a doubt the best $119 i have ever spent. Ride is better, jumps on plane about 5 mph sooner and stays there, helped eliminate 95% of any porpoising that i had and to top it off i seem to have gained about 1 mph ( not quite the 3 that others have claimed but to me it is just a bonus) I got the smart tab sx series and went with the 60 lbs actuators and seems to be a perfect match for my boat. As far as posting the pictures, i loaded pictures to photobucket, dropped the size to medium and then on the left size there are four options such as html and some others and copied and pasted the fourth option which i believe says IMG code and then inserted the paste on the forum page.

I have the same mill in my boat, what does that GLS weight out at? My 205 is actually 19' 11' or something like that...and if the weight is comparable my results might be very similar in the speed deparment.

Never Mind! will look it up on Glass's site.

My boat is 19'4 LOA but is actually closer to 18' if you don't count the integrated swim platform. I was actually looking at the gxl205 but the new models came out when i finally got the go ahead from the wife. The 205 was a bit too long for me to store in my garage. The gls models are a bit deeper than the gxl's. I would bet they are within 100 lbs of each other. Btw ... good looking boat you got there!!

how do you like it? was the 5hp strong enough for 4 people? because i have a 7.5 Flat bottom (haven't taken it out offically yet) and i will probably only take me and another person maybe 3 so just wondering how the 5hp worked.

Wow! Look at all them pretty boats! :cool:

I picked up an '87 Sylvan this winter, a former camp boat - she's in pretty rough shape and it's almost embarrassing to post pictures among all these fancy boats! But she'll get fixed up over the next couple of years .....

I thought I had posted here before but I don't see it , Here mine 1974 Wellcraft V-20 Steplift we restored 5 years ago new seacast poured transom and all new deck paint starboard console gauges, totally new wiring harness. 150 Black Max and a jackplate, motor is a 25 inch on a 20 inch transomhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a358/newhavenrr/PDR_0005_1.jpg

But i ripped all the interior out, replaced all stringers, deck,transom and added knee braces... Just waiting on some extra cash to start interior, and possibly put a different motor on it... Im stoked...
Its gonna be great when done, and im stoked for spring...
