Welcome to iboats.<br />You are missing one or more cylinders. On a 2cycle, the effects wont be fealt until it has a load on it. It will otherwise sound like it is running normally, but it's not. <br /><br />Run a compression test. Then run some decarb cleaner thru it, and see if the compression picks up any. If not, it's holy piston syndrome, or broken ring,blown head gasket, or you know.
