what year is my johnson motor

I am not sure what year the motor is, however the model number is 85ESL695, serial number: J3035751. It is a Johnson 85hp Hydroelectric.<br />If anyone knows where to find out what year it is that would be great because I could then get a manual as well.

That's a 1969. For a brief period, Johnson model numbers made sense. That 5 on the end is really an S.
