91 70 hp issues

Motor runs fine wot @6000 Starts pretty good have to give it just a little throttle and prime it. Everytime recently after fishing and running back to the ramp it won,t idle very good at all pushing primer does seem to help.<br />Came home to deep creep the carbs notice the airbox gasket has issues on the bottom and there are no screws on the bottom row of the box, do these problems relate to each other. Carbs rebuilt by dealer Jan o5 boat run almost every week since then????model j70tleie Sorry for jumbled post Thanks Jay

missing screws not a big deal<br />your carbs may need to be set up did dealer lake test your boat if not some more adjustment may be required.<br />make sure motor is warming up a cold engine idles poorly<br />i can't remember if 91 models had idle adjustment screws

Sounds like you could have picked up a little water in your fuel or trash in a low speed jet. If you don't have one yet, you might want to put an inline filter on it.
