bolts to pull flywheel 1991 225hp v6

what size bolts do i need to pull the flywheel. i need to reglue my magnets.<br /><br />i have tried 1/4"x 20 and they are too small.<br />i have tried 5/16 x 18 but they seem as though its the right size, but wrong thread...
