Adjusting linkages

I have a 1984 Johnson 115 VRO and I am wondering if there is an easy way to adjust my throttle and shifter linkages? I ordered a manual for the motor also. Would it be in there? any help here would be great.

Do a search on this forum for linkage adjustments. There are a lot of posts for this.

Strauser24: If you ordered a factory manual the link/synch exercise will be in there. If you ordered a Seloc or Clymer, it should be there as well but may be incomplete or a little difficult to read because these manuals may not be model specific as a factory manual will be.
