Evinrude 4 E oil mixture...100:1?

My Dad just handed down his boat, which has a nice little Evinrude that says 4E on the back. The model number is E4BRH0B, and the serial number is B101502. I have no idea anything else about it. Next to the fuel hose connection it has a little sticker that uses a picture of a gas pump and an oil droplet to say 100:1 gas/oil mixture. That seems pretty lean to me. Any advice on whether to follow that sticker, or run a more typical 50:1? Maybe with the two little cylinders it can run at a slightly lower rpm..?

I saw a post earlier that OMC changed the rate on the mid 80's engines back to 50:1.

Johnson and rude later changed that to 50:1 mix<br />The 100:1 will toast the bearings in it.
